READINESS-DRIVEN GUIDANCE

READINESS-DRIVEN GUIDANCE

Guidance, exactly where it helps.

Guidance, exactly where it helps.

Because Nexus makes readiness visible, professional development becomes targeted: guidance that supports teachers’ own judgement about where to focus next and grounded in the teaching they already do, not generic workshops. Assessment standards remain independently protected.

Greenwich-developed professional development

Development built with the University of Greenwich.

Development built with the University of Greenwich.

Teachers at LAI-approved centres gain access to professional development created with the University of Greenwich, designed to support the work they are already doing in the classroom. The focus is practical: assessment literacy, subject confidence, inclusive teaching, academic practice, and the secure delivery of the LAI Standard.

A development pathway, not just a course

A development pathway, not just a course

Room to grow, while you keep teaching.

Room to grow, while you keep teaching.

Development should not stop at short training. Through the University of Greenwich relationship, LAI-approved schools can offer teachers a pathway that may support progression into postgraduate study — including Master’s-level and doctoral-level routes — subject to the University’s entry requirements, programme availability and normal academic approval. LAI awards its own accredited programmes; the University of Greenwich supports teacher development, not the awarding of LAI accredited programmes.

A standards community

A standards community

A school that joins LAI is not only adopting accredited programmes. It is joining a standards community where teachers continue to teach, continue to grow, and can see a serious academic future for themselves.

Recognitions

The Recognition Standard.

LAI gives its own awards through programmes accredited by City & Guilds. LAI works with academic partners, including the University of Greenwich, for teacher training, professional development and capacity building at LAI-approved schools. LAI accredited programmes hold IBCC equivalency in Pakistan, and an ECCTIS review is in progress. Recognition varies by country, institution, programme and applicant profile. See Recognition & Benchmarking for detail by market.
